Welcome

Hello, and welcome! We are thrilled that each of you will join in our marriage merriment this fall! We got engaged last June while enjoying s'mores in New York's Hudson Valley (hence those gooey Save the Date cards). We are excited to return to the Hudson Valley to get married this October. The weekend will be full of food, fun and fall foliage.

The Hudson Valley is beautiful in the fall, so we encourage you to come and spend the weekend exploring the area. We've enjoyed hikes, delicious food, handpicked apples and outdoor art installations. October is also the busiest month in the valley, so we recommend booking travel, accommodations and dining reservations early.

We will be updating this page with additional details as the big event approaches, and formal wedding invitations will be forthcoming. In the meantime, should you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us. Thanks for visiting!

Toodles,
Devon & Andrew

Accommodations

Wedding accommodations are located in the nearby towns of Cold Spring and Fishkill. We have reserved several room blocks for wedding guests. All rooms include full breakfast. Room blocks expire 4-8 weeks before the wedding, so please book early!

The village of Cold Spring is a small town on the Hudson River, which can be reached by car or train. You can walk to restaurants, antique stores and other shops. In accordance with its quaint character, Cold Spring only has inns.

The town of Fishkill has several large chain hotels that offer a full suite of guest amenities. The hotels are located about a mile from Fishkill's Main Street, which has several smaller restaurants and shops. There are also larger restaurants and chain stores in the area.

Things to Do & Eat

Suggested Activities

  • Outdoor aficionados and leaf-peepers (apparently that's really a thing) come from all over New England to explore the hikes in the region
  • Those looking for a low-key day may like to stroll down Main St. in Cold Spring to do some antiquing, visit one of the many nearby farms to enjoy fall festivals, hot cider and apple picking, or tour the beautiful Boscobel House and Gardens
  • Art lovers should peruse the modern collection at Dia: Beacon or explore the outdoor installations at Storm King
  • Military buffs will want to visit West Point, while culinary buffs will likely be drawn 45 minutes north to the Culinary Institute of America
